The Antique ship in a bottle website is part of the Clipper Maritime Antiques group and we have been specialising in maritime antiques and nautical collectables for over 30 years.

How the obsession with maritime antiques and nautical collectibles began...............

Clipper Maritime Antiques was born from a seafaring family and a love for all things nautical. 

My father was a Merchant Seaman and Chief Engineer so i guess there was already saltwater in the blood. 

I became obsessed with nautical brass and shipwreck treasure and after learning to Scuba Dive in the mid 1980's, I started researching, locating and diving Cornish shipwrecks. Exploring shipwrecks is an exciting hobby and with this came a passion for maritime history, ship's fittings and nautical items.
